The Staffordshire Regiment Museum can offer your school:

Activity-based visits for school parties including:

  • Ready-made questionnaires/worksheets for visiting pupils
  • A wealth of historical artefacts - 18th Century to present day
  • A full scale 100metre long replica First World War Trench (outside)
  • Two Air Raid shelters and a collection of Armoured vehicles, also in the grounds
  • Handling Collections e.g. uniforms, medals, documents and weapons (deactivated)
  • Oral History: taped/live interviews with service veterans
  • Gallery and Trench talks by museum staff and volunteers
  • Visits to the Barracks to see how today’s Army is trained
  • World War 2 Loan box
